Canon Xsi Contest Winner!
Congratulations to Photoburbia user Bob Garas on his winning image, Night Rider!
This photo was selected as the winning photo for the Canon Rebel Xsi contest for its artistic and technical qualities. The image has great exposure, color, clarity, creative lighting, and a strong composition. The motorcycle rider and the motorcycle itself create visual interest and maintain the viewer's attention.
When asked about the shot, Bob told us that he and his friend set the motorcycle on a jack stand to make it appear that he was banking a turn. Bob used a fog machine and strobes, but left the motorcyle's headlight on for the shot for a more realistic effect. However, it drained the battery really fast, and Bob and his friend ended up finding someone with a charger so his friend could go home.
